Title:
TUBULAR BODY HAVING GRADATIONAL PATTERN COATED
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08172982
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a tubular body having areas coated with gradational patterns in which particles of the second color are dispersed in the layer coated with the first color, thus the gradational pattern areas are smooth with reduced difference in gloss between the adjacent coated areas.

CONSTITUTION: A tubular body 12 such as a fishing rod is coated on its surface with a paint including the particles of the first color 14C, then areas Z2 are coated with another paint including the second color particles 16C, before the first color layer dries and this paint is simultaneously scattered over the gradational pattern areas Z12. In the gradational pattern areas, the particles different in colors from each other 14C and 16C invade into the other adjacent coated layers 14 and 16 to form the dried coated layer smooth not roughened as if the surface were coated with a single paint with the same level of gloss as that of the surface of the Z1 areas.
