To provide a tubular body structure capable of effectively damping a sound wave even if the sound wave propagating the inside of a tubular body has a low frequency without relying on the the extension of buffer work.
The tubular body structure 1 includes a passage extended in the axial direction of the tubular body 2 (for example, a passage area 21) to the inside of the tubular body (for example, a tunnel 2). A plurality of shielding plates 3 for cutting off the sound wave are arranged in the area avoiding the passage 21 in the tubular body 2 along the axial direction of the tubular body 2 so as to be approximately orthogonal in the axial direction of the tubular body 2. The shielding plates 3 are so provided that they are erected from a supporting surface 51 for supporting the shielding plates 3.
