Title:
TUBULAR BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3219242
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a tubular body by setting a continuous reeling length of a main fiber of a pre-preg in its longitudinal direction at a twice-reeling length or less.
SOLUTION: A first pair of pre-pregs C1, C1' in which carbon fiber is used as a main reinforcing fiber and a resin-impregnation rate is about 10-20wt.%, are arranged in a manner such that its fiber direction is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of tubular body. A second pair of pre-pregs C2, C2' in which carbon fiber is used as a main reinforcing fiber and a resin- impregnation rate is about 50wt.% or less by weight, are arranged in a manner such that its fiber direction is substantially parallel to the circumferential direction of tubular body. An average resin impregnation rate when the first pair of pre-pregs are reeled up three times or more, is about 30wt.% by weight or less. A cutting operation is performed so that the number of continuous reeling of the first pre-pregs is at most twice, thereby obtaining a desired tubular body.
