PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tubular woven fabric having different diameters and stable strength by inserting a weft into a reeds opening formed while supplying plural warps in a circular shape through a guide member capable of changing the position in the direction of the radius and simultaneously forming plural zones having different diameters of the above-mentioned circles.
CONSTITUTION: In a circular weaving machine, plural warps are arranged and supplied in a circular shape through an outer guide and an inner guide equipped at the inside thereof while being shifted in the alienating direction in order and a reeds opening is formed followed by insertion of a weft into the formed reeds opening to weave the subject tubular woven fabric. In the above-mentioned processes, a drive unit capable of changing the positions of the above-mentioned outer guide and the above-mentioned inner guide in the direction of the radii of the above-mentioned circles is operated to change the positions in the direction of the radii while keeping a prescribed distance between the circles formed by both the above-mentioned guides constantly so that the diameters of the above-mentioned circles may be increased, decreased or kept constant. While changing the distances between mutual warps by the above-mentioned process so that the whole warps may change uniformly, two or more zones having different diameters are formed in the direction of the warp.
