Abstract:
To provide a tubular pin tumbler lock with a structure different from a conventional one, having less components and a minimized size.SOLUTION: A tubular pin tumbler lock 1 capable of being locked or unlocked by inserting and rotating a cylindrical key 5 comprises: a disc body 2 having a plurality of pin holes 21 provided on a front end face 2a in a peripheral direction; a code pin 3 arranged in the pin holes 21 and having at least one recessed groove 31 on an outer peripheral face 3a over the peripheral direction; and a lock ring 4 equipped with a protruding tooth 42 protruding inward on an inner peripheral edge side, where normally the protruding tooth 42 contacts the outer peripheral face 3a of the code pin 3 to restrict rotation of the disc body 2, and when the key 5 is inserted, the code pin 3 is pushed in to make the recessed groove 31 come in alignment with a position of the protruding tooth 42 to allow the disc body 2 to rotate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
