Title:
TUG YARN FOR EXTRACTION BAG AND EXTRACTING BAG
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2978601
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tug yarn, composed of plural components having a specific value or above of melting point difference in which one or more are synthetic organic polymers and having a specific value of water sucking length without any water absorptivity, yarn breakage and slipping off and useful for black tea bags, etc.
CONSTITUTION: At least two kinds of components having ≥15°C difference in melting point are used and a polyester, etc., 1 having a higher melting point is employed in the inner layer of fiber. Polyethylene, etc., 2 having a lower melting point are used in the outer layer of the fiber to form conjugate fiber having a core.sheath structure. The resultant conjugate fiber is then spun into single yarns. Ten single yarns are subsequently twisted and subjected to water repellent processing with fluorine. Thereby, the objective tug yarn having ≤20mm sucking length per min of water at 20°C is obtained. Furthermore, the tug yarn 5 can be fused to a pouchy bag 4 composed of a nonwoven fabric made of polypropylene, etc., at a fused part 6 to afford an extraction bag for coffee, black tea, etc.
