Abstract:
To provide a tumor treatment apparatus capable of inhibiting normal cells in a part other than an affected part from being damaged.SOLUTION: A tumor treatment apparatus comprises a base, at least one electron emission element disposed on the base, and a power supply unit. The electron emission element comprises a bottom electrode, a surface electrode facing the bottom electrode, and an intermediate layer disposed between the bottom electrode and the surface electrode. The base is provided so as to be capable of making the surface electrode face an affected part via a gaseous phase. The power supply unit is provided so as to generate potential difference between the bottom electrode and the surface electrode and is provided so as to generate potential difference between the surface electrode and the affected part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
