To provide a tunable matching circuit of low-loss in RF.
A ferroelectric material is used in order to produce a low-loss tunable capacitor 32 and inductor 31 for using in a matching circuit 22. The matching circuit 22 is provided with a capacitor 28 and an inductor 30 having an impedance, a ferroelectric material deposited in order to adjust a capacity value of the capacitor 28 or an inductance value of the inductor 30, a control line operably connected with the ferroelectric material, and a control source 98 constituted so that control signals are transmitted on the control line, wherein the ferroelectric material adjusts a value to modify the impedance of the matching circuit 22 in response to the control signals, the capacitor 28 and the inductor 30 take into consideration of all loss contributions and are designed to erase the all loss contributions or keep them within a limit. This enables exact determination of the loss contributions of the ferroelectric material and use of a device in a system requiring low-loss.
