PURPOSE: To shorten the construction period of tunnel construction.
CONSTITUTION: When a tunnel 19 is constructed in the underground, a carriage 3 movable along the extending direction of the tunnel 19 is arranged in the tunnel 19, and holes for providing explosive for blasting are formed on a pit face 1905, on the front end side of the carriage 3 facing to the pit face 1905 of the tunnel 19. Next, the carriage 3 is retreated, the pit face 1905 is blasted by means of the explosive for blasting provided in the holes, after blasting the pit face 1905 the carriage 3 is advanced, collection of muck generated by blasting and spraying of concrete for primary spray onto the circumferential face of the tunnel 19, are performed keeping pace with each other and simultaneously on the front end side of the carriage 3. On the rear end side of the carrage 3, building-in of supports on the circumferential face of the tunnel 19 completing of spray of concrete for primary spray, spraying of concrete for secondary spray on the circumferential face of the tunnel 19 built-in with the supports, and driving of lock bolts, are performed keeping pace with the works performed on the front end side of the carriage 3 and simultaneously.
