Abstract:
To provide a tunnel ceiling part removal method allowing for securely removing many existing ceiling boards that are continuously installed in axial direction of a tunnel and integrally fixed in a state of being arranged in a width direction within a predetermined limited time period.SOLUTION: A tunnel ceiling part removal method comprises: a first ceiling board replacing step to remove an existing ceiling board 11 in one region 10b across an intermediate part 10a of a tunnel 10 and replace the existing ceiling board with a light-weight replacement piece 14; a second ceiling board replacing step to remove an existing ceiling board 11 in the other region 10c and replace the existing ceiling board with a light-weight replacement piece 14; and a ceiling part removing step to remove the replacement pieces 14 replaced in the first ceiling board replacing step and the second ceiling board replacing step and remove an existing ceiling board 11 left in the intermediate part 10a. A ceiling part 12 in a predetermined construction area is removed by repeating the ceiling part removing step for each predetermined construction span S within approximately 4 hours at night during which all traffic lanes are blocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
