Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the achievement coefficient of a refrigerator by supporting the output shaft of an inverter motor where the impeller of a turbo compressor is directly connected with a bearing lubricated by a liquid refrigerant and at the same time controlling a suction vane provided at the turbo compressor and an inverter motor while relating them each other.
SOLUTION: An inverter 35 and a suction vane 37 are simultaneously controlled while they are related each other by receiving a command from a control device 48. An output shaft 33 of an inverter motor 32 is supported by radial bearings 39 and 40 and thrust bearings 41 and 42. Also, a turbo compressor 30 has the suction vane 37, and the opening of the suction vane 37, namely the amount of suction gas and the speed of the inverter motor 32 are related each other and are controlled by the control device 48, thus improving the efficiency of the turbo compressor 30 and hence improving the achievement coefficient of a refrigerator.
