Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost turbocharger capable of permitting displacement of the turbocharger caused by thermal expansion.SOLUTION: A turbocharger 1 comprises an exhaust flow passage 27, a turbine 3 arranged in the exhaust flow passage 27, and a turbine housing 2 rotatably supporting the turbine 3. In the turbine housing 2, there are fixed an inner pipe 5, 5A, 5B forming the exhaust flow passage 27, and an outer pipe 7, 7B which is provided to cover the inner pipe 5, 5A, 5B at a predetermined interval from the inner pipe 5, 5A, 5B. The inner pipe 5, 5A, 5B is fixed at one end side 21a to the turbine housing 2, and the other end side 23b is slidably inserted in an exhaust pipe 15 on a downstream side.
