Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbomachine including a non-destructive fastener element for joining components.SOLUTION: One of first and second surfaces (195) includes a non-destructive fastener element receiving opening (96) and a wire retention feature (97). A second component extends into a gap (74) between the first surface (195) and the second surface. A non-destructive fastener element (130) is detachably mounted on a first component. The non-destructive fastener element (130) includes a post member (107) and a wire member (110) operatively connected to the post member (107). The post member (107) extends into the non-destructive fastener element receiving opening (96), preventing removal of the second component, and the wire member (110) engages with the wire retention feature (97) to secure the non-destructive fastener element (130) to the first component.
