In a mowing machine having a reaping unit driven by motor and lateral traveling wheels 17 and constituted to be able to turn by changing the rotation directions of the lateral traveling wheels by operating a turning lever 4 installed in an operation unit 3, a handle 30 is supported to be laterally rotative on the main machine, the rotation shaft 31a of the handle is made capable of being interlocking by connected with a power transmission mechanism to the aforesaid traveling wheels, the rotation direction is made to be the same with that of the turning direction, a clutch is installed to the rotation shaft of the aforesaid handle and the drive power for rotating the handle is made capable of being put on and off.
