Abstract:
To provide a turning position sensor allowing the cost to be reduced.
The turning position sensor 1 comprises a rotary flat cam 2 mounted on a turning output shaft 62 and an eddy current type displacement gage 3 disposed at a position facing the circumferential side 6 of the cam 2 and this gage 3 measures the distance to the circumferential side 6 of the cam 2, thereby outputting a turn position signal f of the output shaft 62. The circumferential side 6 of the cam 2 is formed in such a shape that the sensor 1 provides an output according to the control of a controller 51 to which the turn position signal f is inputted.
