Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turntable in a numerically controlled lathe for working optical lens holding the high precision for a long period by reducing the friction of a pivot, simplifying the maintenance, facilitating the assembling, improving the run out precision, reducing the cost and improving productivity of contact lenses and the like.
SOLUTION: This turntable is provided with the approximately top-shaped pivot 1 having an upward-enlarging tapered head part 11 in its upper part and a columnar part 12 in its lower part, a pivot case 2 having a tapered opening part 21 for supporting the head part 11 of the pivot 1 in its upper part and an insertion hole 22 for inserting the columnar part 12 of the pivot 1 in its lower part, and a turning means 4 tuning the pivot 1. Oil is preferably filled in the pivot case 2.
