In the turret punch press, a desired die out of dies consisting of a plurality of punches P and dies D arranged on a rotatable upper turret 6 and a lower turret 7 is positioned at the machining position C, and the predetermined punching is executed to a workpiece W positioned at the machining position C. The plurality of dies D are supported by die supporting members 23, 25 which are attachably/detachably arranged on the outer side of the lower turret 7, and a vertically moving mechanism 27 for vertically moving the die supporting members 23, 25 positioned at the machining position and a fixing mechanism 28 for fixing the die supporting members while being detached from the lower turret 7 are respectively arranged at the machining position C.
