Title:
TWIN-SCREW DEHYDRATION EXTRUDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3935863
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a twin-screw dehydration extruder capable of efficiently performing dehydration without uselessly elongating an extruder cylinder in its axial direction.
SOLUTION: This twin-screw dehydration extruder comprises the extruder cylinder (1) and a pair of the screws (10 and 10) provided in the extruder cylinder. The screws (10 and 10) have a first transport part (Y1) provided on the supply side of a raw material thereof, a throttling part (S) provided on the downstream side thereof and a second transport part (Y2) provided on the downstream side thereof, and two slits (3 and 3) are provided on the cylinder at the position corresponding to the first transport part (Y1). Further, in the twin-screw dehydration extruder, a dehydrator (20) comprising a dehydration cylinder (21) and a screw (22) is provided on the extruder cylinder (1) at the position corresponding to the throttling part (S) so as to be inclined at an angle of 0-90°.
