Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce relative displacement of a twin structure even in the case of being influenced by an earthquake and wind and to additionally reduce joint width of an expansion joint part of a connection member suspended between two parts of the twin structure.
CONSTITUTION: Connection members such as a connecting corridor 5 and an atrium 3 are provided in such a way as to extend over both of structures 1, 2 between both of the structures 1, 2 erected with a specified interval. In a twin structure constituted in such a way, one end of the connection members is pin-connected to one side of both of the structures and the other end of the connection members is connected to the other side of both of the structures through a damping system 6.
