Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dehydration blade of a twin wire dehydration apparatus of a paper machine capable of adjusting the degree of dehydration and varying the degree of fiber orientation.
CONSTITUTION: Fin-shaped wire supports are attached to a part or total of foil blades 16,16... placed between dehydration shoe blades 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d contacting with a wire of an initial dehydration apparatus 5 to dehydrate a pulp slurry jet 2 ejected from an inlet 1 placed between twin wires 3, 4. A proper blade among the foil blades 16, 16 is shifted relative to the running plane of the wires 3, 4 to contact with or separate from the wire and adjust the dehydration force applied to the pulp slurry.
