To provide a twisted yarn sufficiently exhibiting deodorant functions while ensuring tensile strength even when deodorant actions are imparted by radiation graft polymerization, to provide a method for producing the twisted yarn and to provide a woven fabric and a knitted fabric.

A cotton yarn 2 which is a cellulosic fiber yarn having deodorant actions imparted thereto by the radiation graft polymerization and a cotton yarn 3 which is an un-processed yarn are twisted together to provide the twisted yarn 1. Furthermore, the twisted yarn 1 is formed by paralleling according to doubling. The un-processed cotton yarn 3 is made thinner than the cotton yarn 2 having the imparted deodorant actions. The strength for tensile force can be ensured by weaving or knitting the woven fabric or knitted fabric with the twisted yarn 1.
