Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary rustproof coating composition long in pot life, having no extreme generation of whitening even when water contacts at early time after coating and capable of forming a rustproof coating excellent in rustproof property.SOLUTION: There is provided a primary rustproof coating composition containing a siloxane-based binder (a) having weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 4,000 to 10,000, a solvent (b) containing at least one kind of solvent (b1) selected from a ketone solvent, a glycol ether solvent and an acetic acid ester solvent, a zinc powder and/or zinc alloy powder (c) and chloride ion with a percentage of 0.01 to 5.0 mmol based on 1 mol of a silicon atom contained in the siloxane binder (a).SELECTED DRAWING: None
