To provide a two-layer structured yarn constituted of core fiber comprising hollow staple fiber and sheath fiber comprising solid staple fiber, lighter than the conventional two-layer structured yarn comprising the core fiber composed of a continuous very long hollow filament, and accordingly capable of providing a light woven fabric, a light knitted fabric or the like.

This two layer structured yarn comprises the core fiber consisting of the hollow staple fiber, and the sheath fiber consisting of the solid staple fiber.
