Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise the air-tight property of the fitting part between a rim and a disc and further improve the circularity and the size accuracy of a bead periphery length, in a two pieces full face plate disc wheel.
CONSTITUTION: The front side flange 3 of a rim 1 made of extending material is an extremely thin flange in comparison with a back side flange 10. A rim contact surface 5 and a rim fitting surface 7 are provided on the front side surface of the front side flange 3. The outer periphery part of a disc 2 is a front side flange 4 whose diameter is larger than that of the flange 3 and formes a disc contact surface 6 in coping with the rim contact surface 5 of the rim front side flange 3 and a disc fitting surface 8 in coping with the rim fitting surface 7. The rim and disc are fitted stickingly by fitting both fitting surfaces and the back side end edge of the front side bead seat 9 of the rim made of extending material is jointed by welding to the back surface of the disc 2 under this state.
