PURPOSE: To enrich the function by refreshably displaying a window called from a CRT display part and enabling an operator to set and operate various data on the window picture.
CONSTITUTION: Monitor of the operation condition of a plant device controlled by a controller 1 and setting and operation of various data for the controller are performed by a CRT operator console 3. Two picture (planes) are allocated on one CRT display part so that the window picture can be refreshed, and they are displayed one over the other, and one window can be displayed on each plane. Consequently, two windows can be simultaneously displayed on the CRT picture. Thus, display, setting, and operation superior in flexibility are performed to display the function of the CRT operator console up to its maximum.
