A dehydrating motor 5 is connected to a dehydrating cage rotatably provided in a dehydrating tub, a drain pump 8 is communicated with the dehydrating tub, and the operation of the dehydrating motor 5 and drain pump 8 is controlled by a dehydration time switch 19, a selector switch 17, and a cover switch 22. Contact points 25a, 25b are connected in series to both ends of the drain pump 8, and the contact points 25a, 25b are opened or closed by a relay 25 connected to both ends of the drain pump 8 including the contact points 25a, 25b.
