Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the cycle time for molding and to enable the exacter control of the temp. of molds.
CONSTITUTION: Inert gases are introduced from inert gas introducing ports 6, 8, 18, 23, 24 into a chamber 4 for molding housing a forming mold consisting of metallic molds 14, 15 and cavity dies 16, 17. At least the inert gases introduced from a part among the respective inert gas introducing ports 6, 8, 18, 23, 24 are preheated up to at least the mid-courses of the gas substituting stage, heating stage and pressing stage of the molding cycle. The inert gases past the chamber 4 are preferably cooled in a cooler 61 and are fed back as cooling gases in the cooling stage.
