Abstract:
To provide communication means to implement the functionality for ATSSS in the 5GS.SOLUTION: A UE transmits a PDU session establishment request message that includes an MA PDU Request indication and ATSSS Capability; receives a PDU session establishment acceptance message that includes information indicating that establishment of an MA PDU session is permitted, an access type corresponding to user plane resources permitted for establishment, a value that indicates the reason why establishment of user plane resources of a different access type is not permitted, and ATSSS rules when establishment of an MA PDU session is permitted and user plane resources for either of 3GPP access and non-3GPP access are permitted; and establishes the MA PDU session.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
