Abstract:
PURPOSE:To miniaturize a heater and a gas bag and to reduce the cost of the device, by providing an expansion valve, a condensation heat exchanger, and ejector in a cryostat. CONSTITUTION:The cryostat 1, wherein liquid He 2 is enclosed and a superconductive magnet 3 is immersed therein, and the heater 4 are connected in series. A compressor 6 and gas cylinders 7 are connected in series. The gas bag 5 is branched from the intermediate point therebetween. In this constitution, the magnet 3 is cooled to the temperature of about 4.2K by the liquid He 2. The eavaporated He gas is heated to the normal temperature by the heater 4 and stored in the gas bag 5. When the bag is filled up, the gas is compressed by the compressor 6 and stored in the cylinders 7. The expansion valve 8, the condensation heat exchanger 9, and the ejector 10 are added in the cryostat 1. When abnormal evaporation of the liquid He 2 occurs in the inside, the ejector 10 is actuated by part of the He gas and the condensation heat exchanger 9 is actuated by the remainder of the gas through the expansion valve 8. Thus one half or more of the gas is changed to the liquid He and stored in the cryostat 1.
