PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently use a relatively low ultrasonic wave in a nozzle shower type ultrasonic cleaner in which parts to be cleaned of a living body or the like can be cleaned by an ultrasonic vibration in such a way that a propagation passage of the ultrasonic wave is formed by bringing a liquid into contact with the parts to be cleaned by discharging the liquid from the outlet of a container.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic-transmitting body 54, in which an ultrasonic vibrator 53 is attached to one end side and in which the end surface of the other end side is an ultrasonic irradiation surface, is airtightly held and fixed to an inner peripheral surface of a housing 52 by a holding member 61 such as an elastic O ring in the vicinity of the ultrasonic irradiation surface. Accordingly, the ultrasonic-transmitting body 54 can be held and the ultrasonic wave, of which the vibration amplitude is large and of which the frequency is relatively low, can be used to eliminate stubborn dirt, while the holding member 61 does not restrain ultrasonic vibration at the side face of the irradiation surface. Then, the side face of the ultrasonic-transmitting body 54 and the part of the ultrasonic vibrator 53 are prevented from coming into contact with a liquid 59, thereby high efficiency being realized.
