Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic complex transducer capable of efficiently transmitting vibrations in respective vibration modes, and separately controlling the vibrations even if the vibrations are separated.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic complex transducer 10 includes: a transducer main body 11; and a piezoelectric element 20. The transducer main body 11 has a length equal to or larger than one wavelength of a resonance frequency thereof. Furthermore, the transducer main body 11 has positions of at least two nodes. The piezoelectric element 20 includes at least two piezoelectric elements having different vibration modes, respectively; for example, a longitudinal vibration piezoelectric element 21 and a torsional vibration piezoelectric element 22. These piezoelectric elements 21 and 22 are arranged at the positions of the at least two nodes of the transducer main body 11, respectively.
