This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a transmission data division part 71 dividing the time-series image information obtained from a subject and generating a plurality of pieces of packet data; a transmitting IF 73 transmitting the packet data to the reception side unit via the wireless communication line 150; a reception data discrimination part 112 discriminating between first packet data received in a permission reception period and second packet data received in a non-permission reception period, based on a reception period of the packet data and the prescribed permission reception period; and a reception data composition part 114 newly generating third packet data corresponding to the second packet data based on the first packet data, and generating real time observing image data by composition between the obtained third packet data and the first packet data.
