Abstract:
To adapt quality of an ultrasonic image displayed on a monitor according to the monitor in an ultrasonic diagnostic device body to which various kinds of monitors can be connected.SOLUTION: When a monitor 16 is connected to an apparatus body 12, a controller 50 of the monitor 16 transmits EDID information 44 to the apparatus body 12. A display control unit 30 specifies an image quality parameter set associated with monitor identification information from image quality parameter information 52 on the basis of the monitor identification information included in the received EDID information 44. The display control unit 30 transmits image quality information indicating the specified image quality parameter set to the monitor 16 together with an ultrasonic image formed by an image forming unit 24. The controller 50 of the monitor 16 determines display settings of a display unit 48 on the basis of the image quality information transmitted from the apparatus body 12, and causes the display unit 48 to display the ultrasonic image transmitted from the apparatus body 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
