PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic system capable of objectively judging the operating state (operating time) of an ultrasonic probe for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves.
CONSTITUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic system forms an image in a device main body 1 with the tomographic information in a testee obtained via an ultrasonic probe 2 for transmitting ultrasonic waves to the testee and receiving the reflected waves from the testee. It is provided with an EEPROM 14 storing the cumulative operating time of the probe 2; a probe operating time monitor section 25 measuring the continuous operating time of the probe 2, adding the measured continuous operating time to the cumulative operating time stored in the EEPROM 14, and updating the cumulative operating time stored in the EEPROM 14; and a display section displaying the cumulative operating time updated by the probe operating time monitor section 25.
