Title:
ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTOR FOR TURBINE ROTOR BLADE IMPLANTED PART AND FLAW DETECTION METHOD USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3390748
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detector for a turbine rotor blade implanted part easily discriminating between rust or the like and a flaw and having good maintenance properties and high accuracy.
SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flaw detector has an ultrasonic probe for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic probes with respect to the blade implanted part 2 of the turbine rotor 1 having turbine blades 3 and an image processor 31 for converting a received echo to a visually confirmable state to display the same on a monitor 1. First and second probes 27 and 28 are arranged so as to allow the direction of transmitted ultrasonic waves and the direction of the reflected echo to almost coincide with the diameter direction of the turbine rotor and moved relatively along the peripheral direction of the turbine rotor 1 to perform scanning. By this constitution, in the image processor, the coordinates axis of the distance of ultrasonic waves is set in the direction crossing the coordinates axis in a scanning direction at right angles to two- dimensionally display a flaw detection image on the display screen of a display part.
