Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent noises by engaging with a supporting base at the position of a node where a vibrator does not vibrate. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor device is equipped with a piezoelectric element 1 which is so designed to generate a traveling wave by making a phase difference in an electrode construction, a vibrator 2 on which the element 1 is loaded, a ring-like groove 5 constituted of a needle 3 and provided at the position of a node 4 of the vibrator 2, a supporting base having a ring-like projection 6 and supporting and fixing the vibrator 2, and a ring-like projection 7 of the vibrator 2. Said vibrator 2 is engaged in the supporting base 6 to fix at the position of the node 4 where the vibrator 2 does not vibrate. Accordingly, the vibration of the vibrator 2 is not weakened as much as possible, and the vibrator 2 can be firmly supported and fixed.
