Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic phantom even when being repeatedly used over time, securing reproducibility and temporal stability.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic phantom includes water, agar, polysaccharide thickeners and water retention aid, and when a temperature of solating an aqueous dispersion of agar due to temperature rise is defined as a first phase transmission point and a temperature of gelatinizing the solated aqueous solution due to temperature drop is defined as a second phase transition point, in a temperature region of the second phase transition point or more and the first phase transition point or less, the polysaccharide thickeners do not have a phase transition point of gelatinizing aqueous solution of the polysaccharide thickeners due to temperature drop. A polarization term δP of Hansen solubility parameter of the water retention aid is 13.0 MPa0.5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
