Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic therapy apparatus capable of reducing generation of unnecessary electromagnetic waves.SOLUTION: An HIFU transducer 6 of the ultrasonic therapy apparatus comprises a housing 7 including a principal surface 30, a first area 31 located at least at the principal surface 30 and a second area 32 different from the first area 31, and a transducer 33 composed of a plurality of piezoelectric elements disposed to face the first area 31 of the principal surface 30 in the housing 7. A first ultrasonic attenuator 34 is installed at a boundary area located including a boundary of the first area 31 and the second area 32 of the housing 7, and a second ultrasonic attenuator 37 is installed at a penetration part 36 located at the principal surface 30 and disposed to penetrate from an opening 35 enclosed by the first area 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
