Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic transducer allowed to be easily manufactured, and to provide a manufacturing method of the ultrasonic transducer.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer includes: a piezoelectric element 10 having electrodes 12, 13 on one principal surface and the other principal surface opposed to each other; an acoustic transmission member 20 provided with an arrangement surface 23 having an area larger than that of the one principal surface of the piezoelectric element 10 and composed of arranging the piezoelectric element 10 face-to-face with the one principal surface side of the piezoelectric element 10; and an enclosing member 30 fixed on the arrangement surface 23 of the acoustic transmission member 20 to enclose the outer peripheral side of the piezoelectric element 10. An inner peripheral surface 30A of the enclosing member 30 includes an inclination section 71 inclined to the piezoelectric element 10 side from an end 71A on the opposite side of the acoustic transmission member 20 toward the acoustic transmission member 20 side. An end 71B of inclination section 71 on the acoustic transmission member 20 side is located on the acoustic transmission member 20 side rather than the other principal surface of the piezoelectric element 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
