PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a load by water pressure difference from being applied to an ultrasonic permeation plate to contrive to make the ultrasonic permeation plate thin by installing an indirect tank which can hold liquid for the indirect tank whose level is the same as that of a washing tank and always keeping the level of washing liquid in the washing tank almost the same as the level of the indirect tank liquid in the indirect tank.
SOLUTION: When washing a material to be washed 1, first a washing tank 3 is installed in an indirect tank 6 so as not to be contacted with a diaphragm 11. Next, a liquid supply valve 13 is opened to supply liquid 4 for the indirect tank such as pure water to the indirect tank 6, and washing liquid 2 is supplied to the washing tank 3. At this time, the liquid supply is performed while adjusting the liquid quantity of the liquid supply valve 13 so that the level of the indirect tank 6 and that of the washing tank 3 are always the same. When the indirect tank 6 is filled to the maximum capacity, the supply of the liquid 4 for the indirect tank is stopped, and with the liquid 4 for the indirect tank and the washing liquid 2 being at the same level, the washing tank 3 is also filled to a specified level with the washing liquid 2. In this way, water pressure to the ultrasonic permeation plate 7 is always fixed to prevent a load from being applied to the ultrasonic permeation plate 7, enabling the plate 7 to be made thin.
