Title:
腎神経用超音波カテーテル
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP7034246
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To provide an ultrasound catheter for kidney nerves, the catheter that can efficiently heat and cauterize only a target portion where the kidney nerves are present, and also has no water-cooled system, has a simple structure and is miniaturized in comparison with conventional products, and thereby can be made to arrive at the inside of a thinner blood vessel.SOLUTION: An ultrasound catheter for kidney nerves of the present invention includes a catheter unit 2 comprising a catheter body 21 and an operation part 22, an ultrasonic vibration unit 1 arranged at the tip end of the distal side of the catheter unit 2, and control means (ultrasound control system 3) for controlling the ultrasonic vibration unit 1. The ultrasonic vibration unit 1 comprises a capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT) array capable of applying a high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for heating the kidney nerves and having a micromachine form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
