To obtain an ultraviolet-curing resin ink which is applied to the surface of e.g. an optical disc or a bottle to form a coating film on which an image can be formed with good transfer by electrophotography by adding a surfactant selected among cationic surfactants, anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants to an ultraviolet-curing resin ink.
0.1-30 wt.% at least one surfactant selected among cationic surfactants, anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants is added to an ultraviolet-curing resin ink comprising a polymerizable resin obtained by polymerizing a monomer such as an acrylic ester, epoxy acrylate, urethane acrylate or polyester acrylate, a cut monomer such as a monoacrylate, a diacrylate or a triacrylate, a photopolymerization initiator such as benzophenone or accetophenone and additive such as an inorganic pigment and an organic pigment. The obtained ink is applied to the surface of a substrate to form a coating film having a thickness of 5-20 μm and a surface resistivity of 1×1013 Ωor below.
