To provide an umbrella which can more effectively block daylight and ultraviolet rays.

In the umbrella which blocks daylight and ultraviolet rays, an umbrella fabric has a first layer which blocks daylight and a second layer which blocks ultraviolet rays. The daylight is reflected on and blocked at the first layer and the ultraviolet rays are blocked at the second layer. By the constitution that the first layer is prepared outside as viewed from the side of a user who puts up the umbrella and that the second layer is prepared inside, the daylight is first reflected on and blocked at the first layer side and the ultraviolet rays, which cannot be blocked at the first layer, are blocked at the second layer.
