Abstract:
To provide a foam produced by polymerizing an emulsion which does not contain a crosslinking agent according to the present invention.
The present invention disclose a process of producing a non-crosslinking foam by polymerizing a reactional phase and an emulsion containing a reactional phase component and immiscible phase. The foam produced from a water-in-oil emulsion containing highly dispersed phase is disclosed. The foam may be polymerized with a photoinitiator, a thermal initiator or a redox initiator. The use of foam for articles and foams is also disclosed.
