Title:
UNDERCOATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION FOR DICYCLOPENTADIENE RIM MOLDING PRODUCT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3192378
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material capable of providing a good coating appearance by sealing the pinhole being on the surface of a material and further diminishing deficiency such as peeling of the coated membrane by manifesting a good adhesion when coating a molding product of dicyclopentadiene RIM.
SOLUTION: This coating material comprises (A) a polyester polyol resin having a hydroxyl group, 400-1,000 number average molecular weight and 50-200 mnKOH/g hydroxyl value, and (B) a polyisocyanate compound having ≥20% isocyanate group content obtained by blending components A and B so that the isocyanate group of the component B may be 0.75-2.00eq. based on 1eq. hydroxyl group. The hardened membrane of the composition has (-20) to 60°C glass transition temperature, 10-100% elongation at 20°C and ≥200kgf/cm2 tensile strength at 20°C.
