Title:
UNDERCOLOR SIGNAL CORRECTING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6445644
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To widely set a color reproducing range by level weighting color at each signal of Ye, Mg, Cy an undercolor discriminated by undercolor discriminating means, and adding the undercolor produced by undercolor correcting means and color signal produced by undercolor removing means by adding means.

CONSTITUTION: 3 primary color signals of R, G, B are converted by a converter 1 to color signals of Ye, Mg, Cy for a printer, and primary color (k) (common parts of levels of Ye, Mg, Cy) (achromatic parts) is discriminated by undercolor discriminators 2. The undercolor (k) is supplied to a undercolor correcting circuits 3, Ye, mg, Cy are weighted respectively by undercolor gray balance input/output characteristics to be corrected for gray balance, and supplied to a undercolor-color signal adder 4. On the other hand, the undercolor (k) is removed from the color signals by an undercolor removing circuit 5 to color signals only in Mg, Ye without Cy component, and then color-corrected for Mg, Ye by a color signal correcting circuit 6, and added by the undercolor-color signal adder 4.
