To provide an underground burying and fixing method for a column, by which an excavation range can be small and which easily fixes the column.
A method of burying and fixing a column fitted with a power generation device utilizing natural energy upright on a ground surface includes the steps of: forming a hole part opened on a ground surface by excavating the ground surface; burying a first column pipe among a plurality of hollow column pipes including the first column pipe and a second column pipe as components as lengthwise divisions of the column in the hole part with one opening thereof directed to the opening of the ground surface; projecting at least two rod members housed in the hollow interior of the first column pipe to the outside through a hole part provided to a peripheral surface of the first column pipe, and horizontally extending to insert the rod members into the ground from a side face of the hole part; and connecting the second column pipe to a ground surface-side opening of the first column pipe.
