Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the waste of excess execution when an improved body is developed by varying jet energy in accordance with a long and short distance from the turning center of a monitor for jetting high pressure fluid jet to the profile of a consolidated body having a non-circular section to be constructed.
SOLUTION: When a square consolidated body C1 is constructed four corners' positions x1-x4 and the middle points' positions y1-y4 are set, arrival distance L at where the high pressure fluid jet has to arrive is calculated from the formula: L=f(p, q and t), where: f: coefficient, P: pressure of high pressure fluid jet, q: discharge of high pressure fluid jet and t: jetting time. Then, when energy and positions x1-x4 and y1-y4 are respectively shown in the ordinate and abscissa, energy (p×q) is the maximum in the positions x1-x4, it is the minimum in the positions y1-y4, and when energy is subsequently varied among them, the square consolidated body C1 can be constructed. By the constitution, since the non-circular consolidated body can be easily constructed, the waste of excess execution can be reduced when an improved body is developed.
