Title:
UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE WORK EXECUTION METHOD AND CONCRETE CAISSON USED IN IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3487416
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve curve workability by pressing the rear part of a caisson outward by a butt-pushing jack in the position matching a taper part arranged in the front end face of the concrete caisson.
SOLUTION: Sand in front of an open shield machine 1 is excavated and discharged, and a jacking jack is extended so as to advance the shield machine 1 while using a concrete caisson body 4 as a reaction force. A new caisson 4 is hung and lowered inside a tail part 1c and the shield machine 1 is advanced by means of the jack, and then, caisson bodies 4 are sequentially buried in the similar way. In passage just below a bridge and the like, if the passage position curves to the left, for example, butt-pushing jacks 15a, 15d on the left and central sides push out a plurality of caissons 4 with the shield machine 1. Then, the jack 15a is extended so as to press the left side taper part 12a in the front end face 12 of the caisson 4, so that the left side of the rear end part 13 is pressed by means of the taper part 12a, and consequently, the caisson 4 is pressed outward to the left side diagonally. In this way, curve work execution can be improved.
