Title:
UNDERGROUND WATER CUT-OFF STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF WORKING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5545905
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject strudture and method of working the same wherein a thin water cut-off member in an integral structure is traction-inserted into ground directly in the lateral direction from the forward part in a consolidation system to lay the same under the ground thereby to curtail the working period and to complate the water cut-off.

CONSTITUTION: The front part of a broad water cut-off member 1 of an integral structure due to a steel plate is suitably fixed to the rear parts of tractive members 3 provided under the ground, and jack traction equipments 2 to be fitted to a reaction equipment 5 is mounted on the front parts of the tractive members 3, further fixing members 4 holding the tractive members 3 in an attachable and detachable manner being fitted, the jack tractive equipments 2 being operated, and water cut- off member 1 being advanced through the tractive members 3 under the ground in the lateral direction from the frontward directly in the ground by pulling up to a predetermined position in a consolidation system thereby to manufacture a structural body. Accordingly, since no jont is used, water can be cut off completely, and by drawing the water cut-off member by consolidation from the front part at a time, it is possible to curtail the term of works.
